2-3 slices of bacon, chopped
1 small onion, chopped
2 cans Bush’s Original Baked Beans
2 tbl Catsup
2 tsp Mustard
2 tbl Barbecue sauce
1 tsp John Wills dry rub, or another barbecue rub
Cook your bacon until fat has rendered. Add and sauté onion. Add all other ingredients. Taste and add more catsup, mustard, barbecue sauce, dry rub to taste. Pour into an ovenproof casserole and bake at 325 for 1-2 hours. If you’re in a hurry, just let simmer on top of the stove for 15-20 minutes.
