Ama B's Italian Pasta Salad

This is a delicious and easy pasta salad. Make sure that you reserve some of the dressing to add right before you serve.  You can also add cooked, diced chicken, ham, or salami if you want a main course salad.

12 oz box tri-color rotini, cooked al dente
12 oz jar roasted red peppers, drained and cut into 1"pieces
8 oz jar Italian marinated mushrooms, drained
1/4 cup capers, drained
1/2-1 Cup Kalamata olives, depitted and halved
9 oz package frozen artichoke heart halves or quarters
1-4 oz Havarti, provolone, or feta cheese, cubed
1/2 cup red onion, thinly sliced
1/4 cup fresh parsley, minced
1/4 cup fresh basil, minced

Dressing:
1 tbl fresh lemon juice
1/3 cup white wine vinegar
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
3/4 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp dill

Mix all ingredients for dressing. Mix all ingredients for salad and add dressing, reserving some dressing to add right before serving.
